Die Mold Technician – Night Shift | Training Provided

We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our Night Shift Die Department team. You’ll work directly with production die molds, using hand tools, power tools, dry ice blasting equipment, and overhead cranes to clean, inspect, and prepare molds for production.

No die mold experience? No problem! We’re willing to train the right person. Bring a good work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a dependable attitude.

Gokoh Coldwater Incorporated (GCI) is an automotive manufacturing company located in Coldwater, Michigan. We specialize in producing high-quality sand cores used in the manufacturing of brake rotors for the automotive industry.

What You’ll Do

• Use hand tools, power tools, and dry ice blasting equipment daily.
• Clean, inspect, assemble, and prepare production die molds.
• Use overhead cranes to safely handle and position die molds after proper training.
• Identify mechanical issues with die molds and assist with repairs.
• Follow an established daily work schedule to ensure die molds are cleaned, maintained, and ready for production.
• Occasionally operate a forklift when needed, following required training and authorization.
• Complete basic maintenance records and maintain a safe, organized work area.

What We’re Looking For

• Mechanically inclined and enjoys hands-on work.
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to work each scheduled shift.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Detail-oriented and willing to learn.
• Comfortable with physical work, including standing, bending, lifting, and working around machinery.
• Able to follow instructions and work safely.
• Available for daily and weekly overtime as needed to support productivity and production requirements.

Manufacturing or mechanical experience is helpful but not required.

Work Schedule

Permanent Night Shift – Four-Day Workweek

• Sunday–Tuesday: 6:00 PM–4:30 AM
• Wednesday: 6:00 PM–6:15 AM (Thursday morning)
• Daily and weekly overtime as needed to support productivity and production requirements.

Initial Day Shift Training – Up to 60 Days

• Monday–Wednesday: 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
• Thursday: 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
• Applicants must be available for this training schedule before moving to Night Shift.
