About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our high-performing maintenance team. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of a large fleet of heavy mining equipment.

In this role you will:

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, and component change-outs on heavy mobile plant
• Perform diagnostics, fault finding, inspections, overhauls, and scheduled servicing
• Complete planned and preventative maintenance tasks safely and efficiently
• Undertake daily operational support tasks including refuelling where required
• Work autonomously while following site procedures and safety systems
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance team
• Ensure all work meets strict safety, quality, and compliance standards

What You’ll Need

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter
• Proven experience working on heavy mining or earthmoving equipment
• Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and repair capability
• Current Queensland Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
• Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Queensland driver’s licence
