Diesel Mechanic

Overview

Edler Bros Trucking is looking for a dependable, motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our

maintenance team on 2nd shift.

Whether you already have diesel mechanic experience or have built your skills as a service or

lube technician and are ready to take the next step, this could be a great opportunity.

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 2:00 PM–11:00 PM
• Friday: 1:00 PM–5:00 PM

Pay

• $25.00–$32.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
• 2nd Shift Differential: Earn an additional $1.00 per hour during qualifying 2nd-shift hours

What You’ll Do

As part of our maintenance team, you’ll help keep our trucks and trailers safe, reliable, and ready

for the road.

• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel trucks and trailers
• Complete oil changes and lubrication services
• Mount, dismount, repair, and replace tires
• Inspect trucks and trailers and identify maintenance or repair needs
• Perform general service and maintenance duties
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Work efficiently with the team to minimize downtime and keep equipment operating safely and reliably

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years of diesel mechanic, service technician, or lube technician experience preferred
• Experience with oil changes, tire service, and preventative maintenance
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Welding experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a shop environment
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Dependable and able to work well as part of a team
