DIESEL MECHANIC – POLOKWANE

The Talent Dragon is looking for a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a successful automotive dealership in Polokwane.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

National Senior Certificate
Qualified Diesel Mechanic with Red Seal Certificate
2–3 years’ hands-on diesel mechanic experience
Dealership experience preferred
Valid driver’s licence

KEY COMPETENCIES

Fault finding, diagnosing and repairing diesel vehicles
Basic auto-electrical knowledge
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Commercial vehicle engine maintenance and repair experience
Ability to use diagnostic tools and software
Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent decision-making skills under pressure

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems
Perform routine maintenance and servicing
Use diagnostic equipment effectively
Ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy

Deliver quality workmanship and customer service
Work efficiently both independently and within a team
