Diesel Mechanic

We are actively looking for a talented, driven Mechanic to join our team at MK Hydrovac Inc. (dba Blac Frac Tanks) in Parachute, Colorado.

You won't just be turning wrenches—you will help build a department.

What the Role Involves:

• Preventative Maintenance: Tracking and executing service intervals, inspections, and keeping our trucks safe.
• Diagnostic & Electrical Work: Troubleshooting computer and electrical issues using modern diagnostic skills.
• Repair Execution: From standard hand tools to specialized engine and hydraulic pump repairs.
• Independence: We value self-starters who take ownership of the shop, take pride in an organized workspace, and bring a great work ethic every day.

Requirements:

• Reliable attendance and a team-player attitude.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. frequently (and 127 lbs. occasionally).
• Standard up to 1 ¼” and metric up to 24 mm hand tools.
• Safe driving record (Clean MVR); a Class A CDL or DOT medical card is preferred but not required.
• Please note: As a regulated motor carrier under the Department of Transportation (DOT), we maintain a strict drug-free workplace compliance policy, which includes pre-employment drug screening that tests for marijuana.

Pay: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 55.0 per week
