About the role

We are seeking a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic based at Largs North. You will work Monday to Friday, 5am to 5pm on an 11.5 days + weekend penalty rates roster, with the opportunity to move onto a 9 on/5 off roster for the right person. We pride ourselves on having the best workshop culture through supportive young leaders and teambuilding events, where you will be recognised and work without someone over your shoulder every day.

Key responsibilities

• Service and repairs to Kenworth Prime movers and trailing equipment
• Apply safe-working practices and maintain commitment to safety
• Work as part of a supportive team in a well-maintained workshop environment

About you

• 2 years post trade qualified Heavy Vehicle/Diesel Fitter
• Experience and strong knowledge of service and repairs to Kenworth Prime movers and trailing equipment
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Commitment to safety and applying safe-working practices
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical examination
• HC Truck Licence highly desirable
• Forklift Licence (nice to have or willing to get)
• Road transport experience (nice to have or willing to get)
