About Us

91 Bravo Mobile Diesel Service is a veteran-owned business providing mobile fleet maintenance and repairs throughout Southern California. Established in 2012, we service commercial vans, pickup trucks, light- and medium-duty trucks, and other fleet vehicles at customer locations.

About the Position

We are hiring two experienced Mobile Automotive Technicians. Technicians work from a company-provided service truck to perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.

This position requires the ability to manage assigned service calls, document work accurately, and communicate with the office and customers.

Vehicles You Will Service

• Ford Transit and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans
• Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans
• Cargo vans, passenger vans, and shuttle vehicles
• Pickup trucks and utility vehicles
• Box trucks and delivery vehicles
• Gasoline and light-duty diesel fleet vehicles

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
• Perform preventive maintenance, oil changes, fluid services, and filter replacements.
• Inspect and repair brakes, steering, suspension, wheel bearings, and related components.
• Diagnose check-engine lights, starting problems, charging concerns, and electrical faults.
• Repair batteries, starters, alternators, lighting, and wiring.
• Diagnose and repair cooling, heating, and air-conditioning systems.
• Complete fleet inspections and applicable DOT inspections when qualified and assigned.
• Communicate findings, recommended repairs, and estimated completion times.
• Use a company iPhone and Fullbay to record labor, service notes, and job photos.
• Keep the service truck clean, organized, stocked, and ready for assigned work.
• Follow applicable safety and environmental procedures.
• Provide professional service at customer locations.

Required Qualifications

• At least five years of hands-on automotive repair experience.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience servicing vans, pickup trucks, or commercial fleet vehicles.
• Ability to complete assigned work independently and recognize when additional support is needed.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company vehicle insurance requirements.
• Ability to use scan tools, mobile applications, and digital work orders.
• Strong documentation, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Mobile repair or field-service experience.
• Light-duty diesel repair experience.
• Air-conditioning diagnostic and repair experience.
• Experience with Fullbay or a similar work-order system.

Pay: $26.84 - $40.00 per hour
