Location: Greensboro, NC

Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Pay Rate: $25.30–$40.00/hour, based on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; occasional weekends and travel required.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel-powered vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, and specialized equipment, including sweepers, water blasters, and paint trucks.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and powertrains.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, tune-ups, and component replacements.
• Use diagnostic tools and shop equipment to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and roadside repairs as needed.
• Document completed repairs and maintain a safe, organized workspace.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of automotive, diesel, or heavy-equipment repair experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, and heavy-duty equipment.
• Must provide and maintain personal hand tools.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving history.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Willingness to travel and work occasional weekends.
• CDL Class A is a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and lift or move items weighing over 60 pounds. Must be comfortable working around machinery, noise, fumes, and other shop conditions.
