Diesel Mechanic Technician

We here at Monson Fleet Management Services have been a privately owned small business since 1996. We offer ON-SITE full fleet maintenance solutions for commercial fleets of all sizes. We provide a quality first repair and maintenance program to our customers. As a Diesel Mechanic Technician, you will be a vital team member responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicles and equipment. We are looking for a self motivated individual that will utilize core skills in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance to troubleshoot and fix issues related to transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, and much more. Additionally, your relevant skills in customer service and welding will enhance your ability to provide high-quality service to our clients. Responsibilities from all technicians in our fleet:

Perform quality diagnostics on all makes and models including diesel vehicles and heavy equipment.

Perform a variety of quality repairs on all makes and models including diesel vehicles and heavy equipment.

Track all used parts, materials, and repairs on handwritten tickets.

Communicate with customers clearly and concisely.

Maintain assigned equipment to satisfactory standards.

Qualifications from all technicians in our fleet:

Must have a minimum of 3 years experience.

Must be at least 21 years old.

Prior experience with heavy duty and diesel vehicles.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Must have a valid driver's license and clean driver record.

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

This job requires the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certification.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
