Diesel Service Technician ( 2nd Shift ) ( Entry Level )

Service Mechanic Shift Hours:

• Monday-Friday: 2:30 P.M-12:30 A.M.

Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on tractors, trailers, and hydraulic systems.
• Handle tire maintenance as needed.
• Communicate potential issues with equipment to other departments.
• Make basic repairs such as but not limited to brakes, tires, suspension and electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Respond to road calls as necessary.

Service Mechanic Qualifications:

• Must own personal hand tools.
• 1+ years of mechanic experience preferred.
• Experience with EPA 2017 engines, specifically Cummins X15, Mack MP-8, and PACCAR MX-13 is a plus.
• Knowledge of Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems, hydraulic systems, pumps, and PTOs is beneficial.
• Familiarity with electrical systems for both tractors and trailers.
• A valid driver’s license is required; CDL A is a plus.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks, MVR checks, drug screening, and physical exams.
