The Role

With the addition of Volvo Truck & Bus and UD Trucks to our existing franchises we are looking for experienced technicians with a passion for our brands.

Based in our Taupo workshop and reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll diagnose and repair mechanical issues using cutting-edge diagnostic tools, and conduct routine maintenance, service, and inspections to keep our trucks performing at their best. You'll collaborate with experienced pros, mentor apprentices, and continuously grow your skills.

This role is permanent, fulltime minimum 40 hours per week between the hours of 7:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday, with rostered Saturday mornings between the hours of 8:00am and 12:00pm.

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience with heavy-duty trucks as a mechanic (minimum 3 years post apprenticeship)
• A strong commitment to safety and a proactive mindset
• Excellent problem-solving skills to tackle challenges head-on
• Ideally, a Class 5 license (we can help you get it!)
• NZQA LV4 in Heavy Road Transport or Heavy Plant & Equipment working with commercial vehicles.
• Reliability and willingness to commit to the team
