What You'll Do

As an Automotive Diesel Technician, you'll play a key role in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles while delivering exceptional quality and productivity.

Responsibilities Include:

• Performing repairs according to manufacturer and dealership standards
• Diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, drivability concerns, and vehicle systems
• Utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment and special service tools
• Test-driving vehicles and evaluating vehicle systems and components
• Diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems
• Communicating repair recommendations and additional service needs with Service Advisors
• Providing accurate repair estimates and timelines
• Completing warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
• Coordinating with the Parts Department to obtain necessary components
• Accurately documenting repair procedures and findings
• Maintaining productivity while delivering exceptional workmanship
• Keeping a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

Required

• Valid Driver's License
• 3-5+ Years of Professional Automotive Technician Experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to consistently produce quality flat-rate hours
• Commitment to excellence, productivity, and customer satisfaction

Preferred

• Diesel repair experience
• GM dealership experience
• Manufacturer certifications
• ASE certifications
