Diesel Technician/Mechanic

Job Overview

Dirty Diesel Repair is looking for a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This is a full-time position with competitive pay of $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of diesel mechanic experience and be able to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and heavy-duty equipment.

Full-time employees are eligible for benefits after completing a 90-day probationary period.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of diesel mechanic experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment
• Ability to perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and dependable work ethic
• Must provide basic hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the day

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Experience working on diesel trucks and heavy-duty equipment
• Knowledge of engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and drivetrain systems
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and repair tools
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• CDL and additional certifications are a plus, but not required

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
