Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized dietary department, including washing dishes, sanitizing equipment, and restocking supplies
• Monitor and control food temperatures to ensure food safety and quality
• Assist with menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and colleagues
• Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure smooth operation of the department
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager and/or Director of Dietary Services

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in a dietary or healthcare setting preferred
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation procedures
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
