Job Summary:

As a Dietary Aide at Avir at Hearne, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional well-being of our residents in Hearne, TX. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our culinary team in providing exceptional food service and support to our residents. Dietary Aide is a full-time position that offers a dynamic and rewarding work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, preparation, and serving of meals to residents, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with menu planning, food ordering, and inventory management to ensure efficient and cost-effective food service operations
• Collaborate with other department staff to ensure seamless food service delivery
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Participate in meal delivery, tray management, and dietary support as needed
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including meal service logs and inventory reports

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a related field preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform other physical demands of the job
