Dietary Aide

Overview

Elizabeth Residence of New Berlin is a family-owned assisted living community specializing in the care of residents with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. We are looking for a dependable and friendly Dietary Aide to join our kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing, portioning, and serving meals
• Follow residents’ dietary needs and meal preferences
• Set up and clean dining areas
• Buss tables and wash dishes
• Keep the kitchen and food service areas clean and organized
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation practices
• Safely operate kitchen equipment
• Help with other kitchen tasks as needed
• Provide friendly and respectful service to our residents

Qualifications

• Dependable and punctual
• Friendly, patient, and comfortable working with older adults
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Able to stay organized and keep up with a busy meal service
• Previous kitchen, restaurant, dietary, or caregiving experience is helpful, but not required

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 12.0 per week
