Position Summary
Sets up the dining room and assists residents with food service. Washes dishes, pots, and pans. Takes out garbage. Keeps kitchen clean and sanitary.

Essential Duties

• Washes and stacks dishes, pots, and pans.
• Keeps the dishwasher, dishwashing area, pot and pan area, and dumpster area clean.
• Sweeps and mops the floor daily.
• Assists cooks and CNAs as needed.
• Cleans and folds linen napkins for every meal.
• Makes sure that there are centerpieces on the tables.
• Presents a clean and neat appearance, wearing aprons, hairnets, and other protective clothing as necessary.

Physical Demands

• This position is classified as Heavy, requiring exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift/move objects.
• Constant standing and walking, frequently lifting and carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, bending, turning, and stretching.
• Visual and hearing acuity essentials.
• Ability to remain calm under stress.
