Job Description Per Diem Dietary Aide

Lions Gate CCRC – Healthcare Voorhees, NJ

Lions Gate CCRC is seeking a dependable and compassionate Per Diem Dietary Aide to join our Healthcare Dining Services team. This position is ideal for someone looking for flexible hours and who is available to work day and/or evening shifts as needed , including weekends.

Our Dietary Aides play an important role in providing nutritious, appealing meals and excellent dining service to our residents in a professional senior living environment.

Position Details

• Position: Dietary Aide – Per Diem
• Schedule: Per Diem; days and evenings as needed
• Weekend availability: Required as needed
• Location: Lions Gate CCRC Healthcare
• Environment: Kosher senior living community

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, portioning, plating, and serving
• Deliver meals and refreshments to residents as needed
• Assist with setting up and cleaning dining areas
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
• Follow established menus and dietary requirements
• Assist with special diets and meal requests according to resident needs
• Work cooperatively with the Dietary Services team
• Provide friendly and respectful service to residents
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous food service, dietary, restaurant, or healthcare experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable and punctual
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to follow directions and established procedures
• Comfortable working with older adults in a senior living environment
• Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work area
• Must be available to work day and/or evening shifts as needed
