Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and presentation of meals according to dietary guidelines and safety standards
• Serve meals to residents with kindness, patience, and professionalism
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all food service areas, utensils, and equipment
• Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain freshness and prevent contamination
• Support residents during meal times, offering assistance as needed to promote independence and comfort
• Help with inventory management by receiving deliveries and storing supplies appropriately
• Maintain accurate documentation of meal service activities and report any concerns or incidents promptly

Qualifications

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, team members, and supervisors
• Prior experience in food service or healthcare settings is a plus but not required; training will be provided
• Knowledge of proper food safety practices and sanitation standards
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine desire to serve others
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift items as necessary during shifts

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
