Duties

• Assist with meal preparation and food plating to ensure timely and appealing service for residents
• Serve meals with a friendly, customer-focused approach, ensuring each resident’s needs are met with kindness
• Follow strict food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean kitchen and dining area
• Help with cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
• Support the dietary team in stocking supplies and organizing storage areas efficiently
• Monitor residents during meal times, offering assistance as needed to promote independence and comfort
• Contribute to maintaining a positive dining atmosphere by providing excellent customer service

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in senior living, nursing home, hospital, or food industry environments is highly preferred
• Knowledge of food handling, preparation, cooking, and sanitation procedures
• Strong time management skills to handle meal schedules efficiently
• Experience in food service or kitchen roles demonstrating reliability and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills with a caring attitude towards residents or clients
• Ability to follow safety protocols related to food safety and sanitation standards
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning tasks effectively

Pay: From $18.26 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30.0 per week
