Luxor at Sayville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking dependable and compassionate Dietary Aides to join our dietary team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing quality meal service to residents while helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, tray setup, and food service
• Deliver meals and snacks to residents in a timely and professional manner
• Assist residents during mealtimes as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies
• Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures
• Properly store food and supplies according to facility guidelines
• Work collaboratively with dietary staff and nursing departments
• Ensure excellent customer service for residents and guests

Qualifications

• Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable, professional, and compassionate attitude
• Knowledge of sanitation and food safety practices preferred
• Must be able to follow directions and complete assigned tasks efficiently
