Dietary Aide - Day Shift

Schedule: Day shifts only, 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Rota: Five scheduled days across Monday through Sunday
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Our Cincinnati healthcare dining team is looking for a Dietary Aide who brings positive energy to busy day shifts and takes pride in making every mealtime feel welcoming, organized, and well cared for.

This could be a natural next step if your background is in a restaurant, café, fast-food location, bar, catering team, or another food-service environment. You’ll work closely with dietary, kitchen, nursing, and support colleagues, with full training provided on meal service, dietary labels, food safety, and healthcare procedures.

What happens during a shift

• Prepare dining areas, meal trays, beverages, and service stations.
• Portion and serve food according to menus and diet instructions.
• Check names, room details, meal selections, and tray labels.
• Deliver meals and provide friendly assistance during service.
• Collect trays and clean tables, equipment, and preparation areas.
• Restock supplies and report low inventory.
• Follow food-safety, allergen, sanitation, and temperature procedures.
• Refer dietary questions to the appropriate clinical colleague.
