We are looking for dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Kitchen Staff to join our assisted living facility in Fishkill, NY. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a kitchen environment and take pride in preparing and serving meals that support the health, comfort, and satisfaction of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and food service for residents.
• Prepare, portion, and serve meals according to established menus and dietary requirements.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning the dining room.
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines.
• Properly store food and kitchen supplies.
• Assist with inventory and restocking as needed.
• Accommodate residents' special diets and food preferences as directed.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other facility team members.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen, food service, or restaurant experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well with others.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus.
• Must be able to perform the physical duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
