Dietary Aides and Cooks Part time

White Oak of Newberry is seeking multiple part time cooks and aides for our Dietary department.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

1. Sets up tray line for meals, handling and serving food in accordance with sanitary regulations with all items ready on time.
2. Prepares juice and special items for meals as specified by production chart and serves these on the residents tray.
3. Assists in cleaning dishes, glassware and silverware using dish machine, pre-soaking dishes and silverware as needed, scraping dishes and disposing of waste.
4. Checks wash and rinse temperatures to see that they are at proper temperatures.
5. Puts clean and air dried ware in proper places.
6. Prepares and takes nourishments to the floors.
7. Cleaning responsibilities as assigned.
8. Observes standard procedures for safe and sanitary food handling.
9. Adhere to the personnel policies and procedures of this facility and of the Dietary Department.
10. Practice good personal hygiene daily.
11. Hairnet must be worn while in the kitchen. Hair must be completely covered with net.
12. Complete uniform, including name tag must be worn.
13. Attend scheduled in-service programs.
14. Other related duties assigned by Dietary Manager/Dietary Director.
