Dietary Aides - Part Time

Overview
Ivy Knoll, a caring senior living facility located in Covington, KY is looking for two part-time Dietary Aides to join our dietary team. These positions will work 10 A - 6:30 p, including every other weekend and have the availability to work PRN shifts.

Duties

• Assist in food preparation and meal service for residents, ensuring adherence to dietary guidelines and preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, dining room, and food service equipment.
• Perform bussing duties, including clearing tables and washing dishes after meals.
• Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times to maintain safety standards.
• Ensures food waste is minimized
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with residents during meal times.
• Supports other dietary team members with dietary tasks as needed, including meal preparation and serving.
• Follow all sanitation protocols to ensure a safe dining environment for residents.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in the food industry or dietary aide role is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential.
• Experience in assisted living, nursing home, or hospital settings is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards residents.
• Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Ability to work every other weekend and PRN shifts (as needed).
• Must be able to lift and move items as required in a kitchen environment.
