Harmony Gardens of Columbus, a leading assisted living facility, is seeking a dependable and resident-focused Cook/Cook Assistant to join our culinary team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing nutritious and high-quality meals to our residents while promoting a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals according to menus, recipes, and dietary requirements
• Assist with meal plating and presentation
• Ensure food is prepared and served safely and at proper temperatures
• Follow therapeutic and special diet instructions as directed
• Assist with resident meal service and customer satisfaction
• Prepare snacks and beverages as scheduled
• Rotate inventory using FIFO procedures
• Maintain adequate supplies and report inventory needs

Resident and Team Support:

• Provide courteous and respectful service to residents, families, and guests
• Work collaboratively with dietary staff and other departments
• Support a positive dining experience for residents
