Position Summary Have you always loved preparing meals for family and friends? This position could be a perfect fit for you! Franklin General Hospital is seeking a dependable and positive Dietary Cook to join our team. In this role, you will prepare and serve meals while supporting dietary needs and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve entrees, vegetables, soups, cereals, and baked goods
• Ensure food is appropriate for therapeutic diets
• Follow standardized recipes and portion guidelines
• Monitor patient and resident trays for accuracy based on physician orders
• Take and record temperatures of hot foods
• Receive and check in supplies
• Operate cash register according to policy

Qualifications

• Previous cooking or food service experience preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Flexible, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
• Positive behavior and strong work ethic
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
