Dietary Cook/Aide

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dietary Cook/Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and culinary arts, with experience in menu planning and food preparation. This role is essential in providing high-quality meals that meet dietary needs while ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our clients.

Duties

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Plan menus that accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring nutritional balance.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation in compliance with health regulations.
• Assist in the training of dietary aides and kitchen staff on food handling and preparation techniques.
• Collaborate with the dietary department to ensure efficient service and meal presentation.
• Manage inventory of food supplies, ensuring freshness and quality of ingredients.
• Provide excellent customer service while serving meals to clients, addressing any special requests or concerns.
• Participate in catering events as needed, showcasing fine dining skills and creativity in meal presentation.

Experience

• Proven experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred.
• Background in fine dining or restaurant settings is a plus, demonstrating knowledge of high-quality food preparation.
• Strong culinary skills, including knife skills and meal preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in the food industry.
