About the Role

As our Dietary Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the Nutrition and Dietary Services Department while ensuring residents receive nutritious, appealing meals that meet their individual dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and direct the daily operations of the Dietary Department
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Maintain high standards for food safety, sanitation, and infection control
• Develop and maintain menus that meet residents' nutritional needs, preferences, and physician-ordered diets
• Supervise, train, schedule, and support dietary staff
• Monitor food preparation, portion control, meal service, and presentation
• Manage food inventory, ordering, and department costs
• Maintain appropriate food supplies and inventory levels
• Work closely with nursing and other clinical departments regarding residents' nutritional needs
• Help accommodate special diets and individual resident preferences
• Monitor resident satisfaction and address dietary concerns
• Maintain accurate dietary records and documentation
• Promote a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Dietary Manager, Dietary Director, or similar leadership role preferred
• Long-term care or healthcare dietary experience preferred
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and dietary regulations
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, professional, and resident-focused
• Passion for providing quality nutrition and service to seniors
