Are you a food service professional who enjoys leading a team and making a difference in the lives of others? Fairmont Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is looking for a dedicated and dependable Dietary Manager to join our team!

In this role, you’ll oversee the daily operations of our dietary department while helping ensure our residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals and an enjoyable dining experience.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee the daily operations of the dietary department
• Lead, train, and support dietary staff
• Create and manage staff schedules
• Ensure meals are prepared and served according to menus and resident dietary needs
• Work closely with nursing and clinical staff regarding resident diets, preferences, and nutritional needs
• Monitor food quality, presentation, portion sizes, and meal service
• Manage food ordering, inventory, and proper food storage
• Maintain high standards for sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and applicable regulations
• Address resident concerns and help create a positive dining experience
• Assist with staff education and ongoing department development

What We’re Looking For

• Previous dietary or food service experience
• Supervisory or management experience preferred
• Long-term care or healthcare experience is a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented
• Someone who genuinely enjoys working with and caring for seniors
