Digital & Flatbed Printer Operator

Merchandising Libraries and Sign Portal are looking for a Digital & Flatbed Printer Operator to help produce quality signage, printed products and library merchandising materials.

This role suits someone with experience in the printing industry, preferably operating flatbed and wide format printers. If you have limited printing experience but are confident using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, we can teach you how to operate the printers.

About the role

You’ll work across both businesses, helping take jobs from artwork preparation through to printed production. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and checking artwork for printing using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Setting up and operating flatbed and wide format digital printers.
• Checking print quality, colours, alignment and finishes.
• Carrying out routine printer cleaning and maintenance.
• Working with the production team to keep jobs moving and meet deadlines.

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has printing industry experience, ideally with flatbed or wide format printers; or has strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills and is keen to learn printing.
• Takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
• Has good attention to detail and a practical approach to solving problems.
• Is reliable, organised and comfortable working as part of a team.
• Is willing to learn new equipment and production processes.

Pay: $52,880.00 – $89,080.00 per year
