What they need

Ticketek Entertainment Group (TEG) is a Live Experience Group that helps people discover, access and experience the unforgettable. We believe Life is better live®.

With over 50 years in live entertainment, we sell more than 30 million tickets annually, connect with 30 million fans across Australia and New Zealand, and bring 18,000+ events to life each year. Headquartered in Sydney, we operate globally across eight pillars: Ticketing, Live Touring, Sport, Immersive Experiences, Customer & Data Solutions, Venues, VIP Experiences and Partnerships. Through our integrated operating model, we bring the best live content, ticketing and technology to our partners and create unforgettable memories that last a lifetime

Our values guide everything we do: we partner with purpose, empower boldness within clear boundaries, and celebrate human connection – always putting the fan first.

The Role

Ticketek Ovation is evolving its media function to be a truly data-led, full-funnel performance engine. As the Senior Digital and Performance Media Executive, you will support the planning, implementation and optimisation of digital media campaigns across search, social  and emerging digital media, driving commercial outcomes through ticket sales for events and partners.

Requirements

Outcomes to Deliver

In this role, success looks like:

  • Campaign Execution & Optimisation: Assist with campaign setup across Paid Social and Google platforms, working with internal programmatic specialists on integrated campaigns, and building and maintaining audiences and targeting segments to keep pacing and performance on track.
  • Media planning and stakeholder reporting: Support Performance Managers in drafting media plans and flighting schedules, act as the day-to-day contact for client queries and asset requests, and turn complex platform metrics into clear, client-ready reporting.
  • Craft excellence and continuous improvement: Bring operational rigour and marketing analytics best practice to every campaign, contribute to testing plans, capture post-campaign insights, and keep building your platform knowledge through hands-on learning.

Capabilities to Bring

You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:

  • Platform know-how: 1–2 years' experience in digital media or performance marketing, with foundational knowledge of Paid Social and/or Google Ads and a basic grasp of media planning principles and campaign flighting. Exposure to programmatic platforms like DV360 or The Trade Desk is a bonus.
  • Fast-paced delivery: A proactive attitude, strong prioritisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines while working collaboratively in a fast-paced, performance-driven team.
  • Data-curious and detail-focused: Numerate with an eye for detail, comfortable translating platform metrics into clear insights, and keen to grow into cloud-based analytics tools such as GA4, BigQuery and Looker Studio. A passion for live events, sport, music or entertainment is highly regarded.

Desirable Experience and skills

  • Experience working in sport, entertainment, ticketing, or events is advantageous but not essential.
  • Exposure to cloud-based analytics environments such as BigQuery, GA4, and Looker Studio.
  • Experience activating audiences from CDPs or cloud data lakes in DV360, Google Ads, or CRM-integrated campaigns.
  • Understanding of incrementality testing, multi-touch attribution, and privacy-first campaign design.

Benefits

We’re Australasia’s home of live entertainment – from stadium tours to your local comedy show – and we look after the people who make it happen.

  • Front row perks: Front row and backstage access to live moments – free and discounted tickets to shows, sport and festivals across our network, plus presales and staff allocations for major on-sales
  • A global stage: Headquartered in Sydney with offices across seven countries and four continents, working alongside some of the biggest names in Australian and international live entertainment
  • Flexibility: Hybrid and flexible working, with flexible hours where your role allows
  • Parental leave for everyone: Paid leave for primary caregivers regardless of gender, with real support returning to work
  • Leave, your way: Annual leave plus extras like birthday leave and purchase leave
  • Your backstage crew: Confidential support via our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), including career coaching for you and your family, plus free flu vaccinations
  • Giving back: One paid volunteer day a year to support our community
  • Your next act: Structured development programs like Ticketek Academy, secondments to major events, and career paths tailored to your interests and skills
  • Recognition that means something: ALL STAR Awards and service milestones, celebrating the people and teams who bring our values to life every day
