Digital Content Creator

We are looking for a Digital Content Creator to produce engaging photo and video content for our institution's digital channels.

The role will involve creating short-form videos, student and faculty interviews, event coverage, social media content, photographs, basic graphics, and other digital marketing materials.

The ideal candidate is a creative communicator who is comfortable interacting with students and faculty, working with cameras and basic production equipment, and contributing to content from planning through final editing.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and create short-form videos, reels, interviews, and other digital content.
• Conduct and record student and faculty interviews and testimonials.
• Photograph and record campus activities, events, and other institutional activities.
• Operate cameras, microphones, lighting, and other basic content-production equipment.
• Develop content ideas, interview questions, scripts, captions, and creative concepts.
• Edit short-form videos, including basic cuts, transitions, captions, audio cleanup, and thumbnails.
• Create basic social media graphics, posters, presentations, and other marketing creatives.
• Publish and maintain content across platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Research relevant content topics and social media formats.
• Coordinate content shoots with students, faculty, and the marketing team.
• Organize photographs, video footage, scripts, project files, and completed content.
• Use appropriate digital and AI-assisted tools for research, content ideation, writing, editing, and productivity.
• Maintain consistency with the institution's brand guidelines and communication style.

Required Skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with students and faculty.
• Basic knowledge of video production and camera operation.
• Basic video editing skills.
• Ability to write simple scripts, captions, and interview questions.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and short-form video content.
• Basic knowledge of Canva or similar design tools.
• Creative thinking and an interest in digital content.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn new content-production tools and techniques.

Education

A bachelor's degree in any discipline is preferred.

Candidates with relevant practical experience, content work, or a strong portfolio may also be considered.

Experience

Candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience in content creation, digital media, social media, journalism, photography, videography, video editing, or related fields are preferred.

Fresh graduates and candidates with 0–1 year of experience may also apply if they have relevant practical skills or a portfolio demonstrating their work.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who enjoys creating digital content and communicating with people.

The candidate should be comfortable working both behind the camera and, when required, appearing on camera for institutional content. A willingness to learn and develop new content formats is important.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
