About the role

HD Beauty is seeking a talented and creative Digital Content Creator to join our Marketing & Communications team. This is a full-time position based in Ipoh, Perak. As a Digital Content Creator, you will be at the heart of our brand's online presence, responsible for developing engaging, innovative content that resonates with our audience across multiple digital platforms. This role is strategically important to HD Beauty's growth and market positioning, as compelling digital content drives brand awareness, customer engagement and ultimately business success. You will work collaboratively with our marketing team to bring our brand story to life through creative and impactful content.

Key responsibilities

• Create, develop, and produce engaging digital content, including videos, photos, posters, graphics, captions, and promotional materials for social media and other digital platforms.

• Plan and develop creative content ideas and content calendars aligned with the company's marketing campaigns and business objectives.

• Record, edit, and produce short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and other social media platforms using CapCut, Canva, or other editing applications.

• Design promotional posters, graphics, and marketing materials using Canva or other graphic design tools.

• Participate in on-camera content, promotional videos, and other marketing activities when required.

• Utilise AI tools to generate content ideas, assist with scriptwriting, and improve the content creation process.

• Stay updated on social media trends, viral content, and platform best practices to develop relevant and engaging content.

• Monitor content performance, audience engagement, and social media trends to improve future content.

• Assist in managing social media accounts by uploading content, preparing captions, and responding to comments or messages when required.

• Work closely with the team to plan and execute content for promotional campaigns, events, and marketing activities.

• Organise and maintain digital content files, including photos, videos, graphics, and other marketing materials.

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Multimedia, Creative Media, or any related field.

• Presentable, well-groomed, and confident in front of the camera.

• Proven experience in content creation, video editing, social media, or a similar role is an advantage.

• Proficient in Canva, CapCut, or other editing applications for video editing, poster design, promotional graphics, and other marketing materials.

• Familiar with AI tools for content creation, video editing, scriptwriting, and generating creative ideas.

• Able to develop creative concepts and produce engaging video content, promotional materials, and social media posts.

• Good knowledge of social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, including current trends and content best practices.

• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging captions and promotional content.

• Creative, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

• Good time management skills and able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Fresh graduates with relevant skills, creativity, and a strong interest in content creation are welcome to apply.
