Digital Content Designer (Remote/Part-Time)

Modern Creative is looking for a create, chronically online, and visually driven Digital Content Designer to create engaging graphics and visual content for social media and marketing.

We’re looking for someone who understands what makes people stop scrolling. Think collages, simple motion graphics, memes, visual concepts, and text-based graphics that are actually interesting to look at.

You don’t need to be a professional social media designer. If you’re a hobby artist, designer, meme-maker, or creative who loves experimenting with visual content, we want to hear from you. You should have a strong eye for composition and visual style, understand current internet culture and social trends, and be able to create polished visuals that work within a brand identity.

This role is design-only. You will not be responsible for copywriting, scheduling, or social media engagement.

What You’ll Do

• Design up to 15 original or template-based visual assets per month for social media and marketing initiatives
• Turn ideas and concepts from our team into compelling, platform-appropriate visuals
• Update established templates for basic brand posts
• Adapt relevant memes, trends, and internet culture into content that connects with our work
• Create original visual concepts while maintaining consistency with our brand identity
• Bring your own creative ideas and perspective to the work

What We’re Looking For

• A strong visual eye and interest in design, art, or visual content
• Familiarity with social media trends, memes, internet culture, and current visual styles
• Attention to detail and experience creating graphics using design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Procreate, or similar (No AI graphics)
• A clear and proactive communicator who can ask questions, provide updates, and flag issues or delays early
• Able to work independently and meet agreed-upon deadlines
• Available for a brief bi-weekly check-in during EST business hours
