Trattoria Appia is seeking a Digital Content Specialist to develop, manage, and optimize digital content that supports brand awareness, customer engagement, and restaurant marketing initiatives. This role creates content for websites, social media platforms, promotional campaigns, and digital communications while maintaining consistent brand messaging and an appealing online presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging digital content for websites, social media, and promotional campaigns.
• Develop content highlighting menu items, dining experiences, special events, and restaurant offerings.
• Write captions, promotional copy, blog posts, and other digital marketing materials.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice across digital communication channels.
• Plan and organize content calendars according to marketing priorities.
• Coordinate with restaurant management and marketing team members to gather content requirements.
• Publish and update content across approved digital platforms.
• Review content for accuracy, grammar, readability, and brand consistency.
• Support search engine optimization by incorporating relevant keywords naturally.
• Monitor digital content performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with promotional campaigns, seasonal announcements, and special offers.
• Coordinate the use of approved photographs, graphics, and other digital assets.
• Respond to content-related feedback and communicate customer engagement insights to management.
• Maintain organized content files, publishing schedules, and performance reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; marketing, communications, or digital media education is an asset.
• Previous digital content, copywriting, social media, or marketing experience preferred.
• Strong written communication, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital publishing tools.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing and SEO principles.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
• Creative, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills
