Digital Control Engineer – R&D

Job Summary:

• Firmware Digital control engineer is responsible for developing control algorithm/coding to ensure the robustness of high efficiency power converter (AC/DC, DC/DC) in AI, datacenter and networking equipment. Candidate will have opportunity to work closely with world class customers from Silicon Valley or Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Working with power electronics engineer to model power converter and develop control algorithm to ensure the proper operation of power converter.
• Create closed loop/open loop block diagram in Simulink/PSIM & validate model in Simulink/PSIM software
• Convert Flowchart/Block diagram into C Code
• Troubleshoot power converter together with power electronics engineer including technical documentation

Qualification:

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering with good circuit analysis skill, preferred Master’s Degree in power electronics industry.
• 3-5 years of experience with the Power Electronics

Skills:

Strong technical background in the field of:

• Basic Control Theory and fundamental of electronics circuit
• Digital control
• C language
• Power Electronics background is a plus
• Familiar with Model Based Design/Simulink is a plus
• Able to write some script languages is preferred ( e.g. Python, m file )
• Verbal and written communications skills
• Professional working attitude, high responsibility and good teamwork, Eager to learn new things & technology: most important
