Digital Designer

The position of Digital Designer is required to produce effective creation and delivery of a range of cross-platform digital work.

You will work closely with Account Executives and the rest of the creative team to communicate a message using type, photography, illustration and colour across all digital platforms.

You will be expected to stay up to date with the latest trends and must have a keen eye for detail together with a highly creative mind. This position requires strict adherence and delivery to deadlines.

The Digital Designer must edit and manipulate layouts according to the client's specifications and must be able to communicate with management to determine the appropriate direction of a project.

Work experience requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of previous experience in the digital industry
• Hands-on experience with image editing software, like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with a strong focus on Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro
• Established aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colours, fonts and layouts
• Bias towards accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
• Demonstrated creativity and innovation
• A reasonable understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment

Education requirements:

• Matriculation/Grade 12 Certificate
• Certificate/Diploma/BA Degree specialising in Graphic Design
