About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead digital strategy and delivery for a major client with ambitious plans to transform how they approach marketing, media planning and buying.

You'll play a pivotal role in driving digital innovation, developing trusted senior client relationships and leading a high-performing team. Working closely with senior stakeholders, specialist teams and global partners, you'll help deliver best-in-class digital solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.

With a strong focus on digital transformation and global collaboration, you'll have the opportunity to challenge traditional ways of working, identify new growth opportunities and influence the future of digital media. You'll lead and develop your team while ensuring outstanding client service, strategic thinking and commercial performance.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead the development and delivery of innovative digital strategies aligned with client business objectives.

• Drive thought leadership, challenge conventional thinking and identify opportunities to improve media performance.
• Oversee digital campaigns from strategy through to execution, ensuring exceptional quality and delivery.
• Contribute to new business opportunities, award-winning work and the ongoing evolution of digital media.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a strategic business partner.
• Develop a deep understanding of client objectives, market dynamics and commercial priorities.
• Identify and drive new revenue opportunities while managing client expectations and delivering outstanding service.
• Strengthen relationships with media partners, suppliers and agency stakeholders
• Work with local and global teams to deliver effective digital planning and activation.
• Collaborate across agency specialist teams to develop integrated solutions for clients.
• Manage client budgets, account profitability and contractual requirements.
• Ensure strong financial processes, accurate billing and effective management of client deliverables.

What You'll Bring

• 8-12 years of digital media planning and buying experience, ideally within a media agency, alongside strong client relationship management experience.
• Proven experience leading teams, developing talent and driving high performance.
• Strong strategic thinking and a comprehensive understanding of digital media channels and planning fundamentals.
• Confidence engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
• A track record of identifying growth opportunities and building commercially successful client partnerships.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Strong commercial acumen, sound decision-making and exceptional attention to detail.
• The ability to challenge ideas constructively, influence outcomes and lead through change.
• A collaborative, future-focused mindset and a passion for digital innovation.

A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred.
