We're looking for a commercially minded Digital Ecommerce Manager to take ownership of the ecommerce business across New Zealand and Australia.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the mix of ecommerce, digital marketing and commercial performance. You'll own the day-to-day performance of the Shopify ecosystem, drive online sales and profitability, and look for opportunities to improve how the business attracts, converts and retains customers.

You'll lead the ecommerce promotional calendar, improve the online customer journey and work across SEO, SEM, CRO, email, paid media and content. You'll use data and insights to understand performance and identify where the opportunities are for further growth.

It's also a role with plenty of interaction across the business. You'll work closely with Sales, Marketing, Creative, Customer Service and external agency partners, giving you the opportunity to influence both the commercial and brand direction of ecommerce.

About you

You'll ideally have 3+ years' experience across ecommerce, digital marketing or online trading, with solid hands-on Shopify experience, along with a good understanding of SEO, SEM, paid social, email and content.

You'll need to be commercially minded and comfortable with the numbers, with a clear understanding of how ecommerce activity translates into sales and profitable growth. You'll also enjoy improving the customer experience, testing new ideas and looking for opportunities to improve performance.

You'll be confident working with senior stakeholders and comfortable in an environment where expectations are high and things move quickly. You'll communicate well, manage expectations and have the confidence to influence while keeping things moving.

We're looking for someone proactive and collaborative who likes taking ownership. You'll be comfortable working independently, but equally comfortable working across the wider business to get the right outcome.
