Digital Engineering Test Automation Lead

For our client, we are seeking a Digital Engineering Test Automation Lead to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.

This role will guide technical execution across complex defense-sector programs, with a focus on applying digital engineering methods and automation to improve systems development outcomes. You will partner closely with government stakeholders and subcontractors to translate project needs into rigorous specifications and practical automation strategies. The position calls for a leader who can synthesize knowledge across disciplines, drive collaboration in a remote environment, and help ensure high-quality delivery on demanding technical efforts.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $107,900 – $195,050 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead technical professionals in project execution
• Interface with DoD stakeholders on project specifications
• Collaborate with subcontractors to align project goals
• Develop rigorous specifications for systems and components
• Synthesize knowledge from multiple domains to address complex issues
• Utilize automation tools like Robot Framework, Python, and GitHub
• Work independently on innovative automation strategies while contributing as part of a remote team

Qualifications

• B.S. degree with 7+ years or M.S. with 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering disciplines
• Proven experience leading technical teams
• Strong written and oral communication abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration
• Experience interfacing with DoD and subcontractors
• U.S. citizenship with a Secret clearance is required
• Demonstrated expertise in applying digital engineering methods and frameworks
