Location

• Remote in the US; occasional availability to travel to Washington, DC or New York is helpful

Role Type

• Approximately 3-month contract

Must Have Skills:

• Advanced SQL and large-scale data analysis experience
• Digital forensics, investigations, or compliance-review experience
• Ability to review and understand application source code
• Strong investigative documentation skills, including classifying findings and clearly documenting evidence
• Familiarity with compliance-related data controls, including data-access controls, privacy requirements, aggregation thresholds, or similar controls

Responsibilities and Job Details:

• Conduct digital forensic reviews and investigations involving application and data activity
• Analyze large-scale datasets using advanced SQL to identify patterns, anomalies, and relevant evidence
• Review and understand application source code as part of investigative and forensic analysis
• Evaluate application behavior and data handling against applicable compliance requirements and controls
• Investigate data-access controls, privacy requirements, aggregation thresholds, and related safeguards
• Classify investigative findings and maintain clear, detailed supporting documentation
• Gather, organize, and document evidence to support findings and conclusions
• Work independently within a primarily remote consulting environment
• Collaborate with technical and compliance stakeholders throughout investigative reviews
• Support an approximately three-month engagement with a targeted September start date
