About the Role

EVI Services Limited is looking for a Digital Learning & AI Editor to develop engaging and age-appropriate educational content for primary school students.

This is not a traditional editorial role. You will explore AI and emerging digital technologies, understand how they work, and turn them into meaningful learning experiences for children.

You do not need to be a software engineer. However, you should be comfortable learning and testing new technologies independently and be able to explain technical concepts in clear and simple language.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, write, edit and review educational content related to AI, digital literacy, coding, and emerging technologies.

• Use generative AI and other AI tools to support content development while critically checking their accuracy and quality.

• Explore and test technologies and digital learning tools related to generative AI, Scratch, micro:bit, STEM, and web-based learning.

• Ensure content is accurate, clear, age-appropriate, and educationally meaningful.

• Work with editors, designers, and technical teams to develop and produce educational resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Education, Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Language, Publishing or related discipline.

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in educational publishing, educational content development, EdTech, curriculum development, or related field. Strong candidates with less experience may also be considered.

• Strong written Chinese and English, with good command of Cantonese.

• Strong interest in AI, educational technology, and digital learning.

• Able to learn and test unfamiliar technologies independently.

• Able to explain technical or abstract concepts in simple, age-appropriate language.

• Strong critical thinking, fact-checking, and editorial skills.

• Detail-oriented and responsible, with the ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and collaborate effectively with different teams.

• Experience with AI tools, Scratch, micro:bit, STEM, coding education or digital learning platforms is an advantage.

• Experience in primary education or developing learning materials for children is an advantage.
