We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Digital Marketer who wants to build a career in modern digital marketing and develop expertise in SEO, AI Optimization (AIO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

Job Overview

As a Digital Marketer at BuddyDevelopers, you will help improve the online visibility, organic growth, and digital presence of our websites, services, and digital products.

You will work across SEO, content optimization, WordPress, AI-powered marketing tools, keyword research, competitor analysis, and emerging search optimization strategies.

This is an excellent opportunity for a fresher or candidate with 0–1 year of experience who is eager to learn, experiment with modern marketing technologies, and grow with a specialized WordPress and AI development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform SEO keyword research, competitor analysis, and website analysis.
• Implement on-page and technical SEO best practices.
• Optimize website content, titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, internal links, and images.
• Work with WordPress websites and understand basic WordPress functionality.
• Assist with AIO (AI Optimization) strategies to improve content visibility across AI-powered search and answer engines.
• Learn and implement GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategies for platforms such as ChatGPT, Google AI search, Perplexity, Gemini, and other AI search experiences.
• Create and optimize SEO-friendly website and blog content.
• Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, indexing, and website performance.
• Use Google Search Console and Google Analytics to analyze website performance.
• Identify SEO issues and coordinate with the development team for technical improvements.
• Perform competitor, keyword, and market research.
• Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, AI search trends, SEO tools, and digital marketing trends.
• Explore and use modern AI-powered digital marketing tools for research, content optimization, analysis, and productivity.
• Assist with link building, local SEO, content promotion, and other off-page SEO activities.
• Prepare basic SEO and digital marketing reports.
• Research new digital marketing techniques and identify opportunities to improve website visibility and lead generation.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing.
• Basic knowledge of WordPress.
• Understanding of keyword research and content optimization.
• Basic knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, Screaming Frog, or similar tools.
• Interest in AIO, GEO, AI Search, and Generative AI.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
• Good understanding of current digital marketing trends.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Good to Have

• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Experience with Elementor or other WordPress page builders.
• Knowledge of Google Business Profile and Local SEO.
• Basic understanding of social media marketing.
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or similar tools.
• Understanding of structured data/schema and technical SEO.
• Basic knowledge of content marketing and link building.
• Familiarity with WordPress plugins such as Yoast SEO, Rank Math, or similar SEO plugins.
