About the Role

Lamppost Digital is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist who understands marketing fundamentals and can use AI tools effectively to improve research, content, execution, and analysis.

We need someone who can understand a business, identify its audience, develop relevant marketing ideas, execute approved plans, and measure what works. You should bring your own thinking, refine AI-assisted work, and take responsibility for the final outcome.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand client businesses, target audiences, brand positioning, and marketing objectives.
• Research customer needs, competitors, keywords, and content opportunities.
• Prepare and execute social media calendars, content plans, and digital campaigns.
• Write and refine captions, creative briefs, ad copy, and website content to suit each brand and platform.
• Coordinate with designers, video editors, and developers to deliver approved work on time.
• Schedule content, monitor audience interactions, and support community engagement.
• Execute SEO activities, including keyword research, on-page optimisation, internal linking, and Google Business Profile updates.
• Support Meta Ads and Google Ads execution, monitoring, and optimisation within approved budgets.
• Track relevant metrics such as engagement, website traffic, enquiries, and conversions.
• Prepare concise reports explaining results, observations, and recommended improvements.
• Use AI tools for research, ideation, drafting, and analysis while checking accuracy, originality, brand relevance, and quality.
• Maintain clear task updates, documentation, approvals, and delivery timelines.

Required Skills

• At least 1 year of practical experience working on business or client marketing accounts.
• Good understanding of audience targeting, messaging, content marketing, SEO, and campaign objectives.
• Hands-on social media management and content execution experience.
• Practical experience in SEO or paid advertising, with working knowledge of the other.
• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Canva, and digital marketing tools.
• Ability to use AI tools effectively and turn their output into useful, accurate marketing work.
• Clear writing, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to interpret performance data and suggest practical improvements.
• Ownership of assigned work, attention to detail, and consistent deadline management.

Good to Have

• Digital marketing agency experience.
• Familiarity with WordPress and email marketing.
• Relevant certifications supported by practical work experience.
