We are looking for a full-time digital operations manager to join our growing team! This role is part of the operations department and is responsible for metadata management and digital deliveries. Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines is imperative. The position is full-time hybrid based in the Company’s headquarters office in Van Nuys, CA.

Role Description

• Execute the delivery of audio and video assets to digital service providers and content partners.
• Ensure accurate catalog metadata, track listings, and commercial and promotional assets are uploaded and organized.
• Troubleshoot and fix day-to-day technical/compliance issues with digital accounts, sales reporting accounts, and metadata submission partners.
• Manage catalog ingestion and data cleanup for newly acquired catalog, standardize incomplete or legacy metadata within content management systems before system integration.
• Apply publishing knowledge to administer mechanical rights, register tracks and monitor splits data with The MLC (Mechanical Licensing Collective) and the Harry Fox Agency (HFA).
• Work with the operations team to improve company wide systems
• Work with Marketing + Product Management on digital set-up for promotional/sales initiatives and opportunities.
• Communicate and identify issues to team regarding the digital operations supply chain and stay up-to-date on emerging technology in the field.
• Familiar with metadata management software, including OpenPlay a plus.
• Familiar with Youtube CMS
• Additional tasks in Operations Department as needed including occasional shipping and receiving and light warehouse work.
• Reports to the VP of Operations.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience working in the music industry, preferably at a record label or distributor
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure and strict deadlines
• Must have strong organizational skills with keen sense of attention to detail
• Music lover that is enthusiastic about helping bands achieve success

Compensation

Competitive salary, incentive and benefits will be offered, commensurate with the role and the final hire’s experience. Depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, network and location of the final hire, the base salary is anticipated at an annual rate for a Los Angeles residence in the range of $68,000 - $72,000.
