Technical Support Engineer - Solar Power Systems

About the Role

This is a technical support engineer role for solar power systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping customers install, set up, troubleshoot, and maintain large-scale solar energy equipment, particularly solar inverters and energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the sales team with technical advice before projects start.
• Meet customers and explain how the equipment works.
• Deliver training on the hardware and software.
• Help during installation and commissioning of solar systems.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and find solutions.
• Act as the link between customers and the company's engineering/R&D teams.
• Provide remote and on-site support when serious issues occur.
• Monitor the quality of installations and recommend improvements.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

• Have an electrical, mechanical, energy, or engineering background.
• Have experience in technical support, field service, or commissioning.
• Ideally have experience in solar energy, renewables, battery storage, or power systems.
• Enjoy solving technical problems.
• Be comfortable dealing with customers and providing training.
• Be able to travel to customer sites when required.
