Digital Pressroom Assistant

Job summary:

The digital pressroom assistant is expected to help with a variety of tasks throughout a given workday in both the digital pressroom and other manufacturing departments (bindery, shipping/fulfillment, collating). This position will require the ability to be flexible while still maintaining desired quality and meeting deadlines. Tasks will range from running machinery (small and large), hand bindery and helping with machine and pressroom maintenance

Essential Job Functions:

1. Assisting the lead digital press operator with daily maintenance and other tasks.

2. Being able to run a variety finishing equipment ranging from folders, cutters and laminators.

3. Cross training in other departments when necessary.

4. Operate forklifts (training provided)

5. Other duties as required by supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires some education, high school or equivalent with basic math skills preferred. Valid driver’s license also preferable.

Abilities Required:

1. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.

2. Frequently work at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.

3. Responsibilities occasionally may require an adjusted work schedule, overtime, and evening/weekend hours in order to meet deadlines.

4. Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams and email.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
