Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Digital Print Operator to join our small production team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating and cleaning a range of digital printing and finishing machinery within a clean, food-safe production environment.

This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain digital printing and finishing machinery, ensuring consistent print quality and efficient production.
• Prepare and set up digital artwork files using Adobe Creative Suite and RIP software.
• Monitor print quality throughout production, identifying and resolving any issues.
• Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of machinery.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment in accordance with our food safety and hygiene standards.
• Follow production schedules and work closely with other team members to meet deadlines.
• Adhere to all company health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Basic computer skills and confidence working with digital software.
• A practical, hands-on approach to work.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Comfortable working on your feet for most of the day and carrying out occasional manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Previous experience in digital printing, Adobe Creative Suite or operating production machinery would be advantageous but is not essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £27,000.00 per year
