Digital Print Operator

City Printing & Signs is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Digital Print Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing quality work, maintaining equipment, and meeting deadlines in a busy printing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital printing equipment to produce business cards, brochures, flyers, booklets, postcards, and other printed materials.
• Review job tickets and artwork to confirm quantities, dimensions, paper stock, color settings, and finishing requirements.
• Prepare print files, including checking bleeds, margins, resolution, and page layout.
• Set up print jobs, load materials, and monitor production for consistent quality.
• Inspect finished work for color accuracy, alignment, image quality, and defects.
• Perform finishing tasks such as cutting, folding, creasing, binding, and laminating.
• Complete routine equipment cleaning and maintenance, troubleshoot basic issues, and report service needs.
• Track materials, minimize waste, and maintain an organized workspace.
• Coordinate with the design and customer service teams to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating digital printing equipment preferred.
• Understanding of paper stocks, print settings, and finishing processes.
• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and print production software; Illustrator and InDesign experience are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple jobs and work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to perform production duties, including standing and handling paper and materials, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Large format printing experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
